Time Zone:  The state of Arizona is located in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST).  It is one of only two U.S. States that does not make an adjustment for daylight saving times, and during the months of April through October, Arizona mirrors Pacific Daylight time.

Tubac Presidio:  Was established in 1752 and was the first European settlement in what is now Arizona.
 
The Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail (Anza Trail):  This trail traces the route the Basque explorer took in 1776, while leading some 240 immigrants wet to Alta California to establish a presidio and settlement.  The trail is also a 3.2 mile desert riparian hike between the Tubac Presidio State Park and the Tumacacori National Historical Park.
 
Tumacacori National Historical Park:  Site of a Spanish mission that dates to the late 1600s.

Sonora Tourist Center, Tucson - 520-784-0551, 800-476-6672.  For land border crossing, citizens traveling between the U.S. and Mexico will be required to present a passport.  For further assistance in travel to Mexico contact the Sonora Tourist Center.  To enjoy shopping and Dining, use the Dennis DeConcini port of entry crossing at Grand Avenue.  Park on the U.S. side and walk into Mexico.
